We’re delighted to have reached a significant milestone in the Framework launch, with the first five Standards now available in draft format.

The consultation for the draft NSVQF is now also open, giving organisations and professionals across the UK an opportunity to help shape a significant new framework for social value practice.

Access the draft NSVQF

The NSVQF has been developed by Social Value Business – home of social value delivery, quality standards and transformation – in partnership with Social Value Quality Mark CIC.

It is free to access and aims to establish clear, nationally recognised standards for social value delivery across the entire lifecycle – from concept to culture.

The framework is designed to:

  • Set clear UK standards and common language
  • Bring clarity to both buyers and suppliers
  • Support best practice across the social value lifecycle
  • Encourage meaningful outcomes and legacy-driven delivery

Importantly, it is designed to complement existing best practice, methodologies and policies. It also aligns with the latest Public Procurement Act.

The consultation is seeking input from organisations and individuals with an interest in driving, creating or evaluating social value.

The consultation has three key objectives:

  1. To refine and strengthen the framework.
  2. To ensure broad representation from professionals working across social value and ESG disciplines.
  3. To identify and remove barriers to implementation.

Feedback will inform the final version of the framework before its planned publication and launch. The consultation includes a national survey, followed by focus groups and a national launch event later in 2026.
