ISS UK is proud to have become the first organisation in the Facilities Management sector to receive the Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM) Silver Award, setting a benchmark for excellence and social value for the industry.
Having been awarded the Bronze Level only in January, the team, working for a major UK client, achieved a 100% mandatory compliance score in the SVQM process and an overall score of 87%.
The SVQM Silver Award requires organisations to provide comprehensive evidence of their social impact, including evidence of social value forecasts and legitimate measurement measures. ISS is now eligible for the Gold Award and will be able to apply after 12 months at Silver standard.
Andrew Wilkinson, Chief Operating Officer at ISS UK & Ireland, said:
“Receiving the Social Value Quality Mark Silver Award underscores our core values at ISS. It highlights our commitment to social responsibility, integrity, and excellence. This recognition is a clear indication of how our values translate into tangible benefits for the communities we serve. Congratulations to the entire team for this outstanding achievement.”
Andy Ingham, Key Account Director at ISS, said:
“The journey to achieving the Silver Award has been a testament to the dedication and hard work of the ISS team. This accolade reflects the significant efforts we have put into creating a positive social impact and the high standards we uphold. It’s a proud moment for all of us and motivates us to strive for even greater heights.”
Richard Dickins, MD, Social Value Quality Mark CIC, said:
“Congratulations to the team at ISS for their significant achievement of the Silver Social Value Quality Mark. Following the award of Bronze earlier this year, they have made impressive progress to build inclusive workplaces, support education and create employment. This award is a testament to the team’s dedication to positive change in the facilities management sector, and we look forward to seeing what more they go on to achieve.”
