We are proud to award Vita Health Group the Silver Social Value Quality Mark Health Award, recognising the organisation’s ambition to lead the way in social value within healthcare.

The achievement builds on Vita Health Group’s Bronze Health Award accreditation in 2025 and marks an important next step in its journey towards becoming a leader in social value within the healthcare sector.

Silver accreditation provides independent verification of the progress an organisation is making against its social value commitments. It recognises a more embedded and mature approach to social value, while providing a strong foundation for organisations that want to increase their impact and set a higher standard within their sector.

Recognising an embedded culture of social value

As part of the rigorous Silver assessment process, Vita Health Group provided evidence against approximately 80 questions spanning the Social Value Lifecycle Standards – such as planning, delivery, reporting and trust. The process also included virtual interviews with internal and external stakeholders.

Vita Health Group achieved an impressive overall score of 87.88%.

Huw Evans, Director of Quality at Social Value Quality Mark CIC said:

“Congratulations to Vita Health Group on achieving the Silver Social Value Quality Mark. This recognition reflects not only a strong commitment to creating social value, but also the genuine culture that has been built across the organisation to support it. In particular, Vita Health Group’s use of social value champions is exemplary, empowering colleagues to take ownership, share good practice and inspire wider participation. Well done to everyone involved on this well-deserved achievement.”

Demonstrating measurable impact

The scale of Vita Health Group’s impact is demonstrated by the combined £55m worth of Social Value activity produced between 2024-2025 – externally validated by the Social Value Portal’s TOM System™.

Monika Szabova, Head of Sustainability and Social Value at Vita Health Group, explains:

“At Vita, we are always looking for ways to create a positive impact for our people, the communities we serve and our planet. Achieving Silver accreditation is something we are incredibly proud of, not only because it provides independent recognition of our progress, but because it reflects the commitment and passion of colleagues across the organisation.

“Social value is embedded throughout Vita, with teams across the business contributing to the positive outcomes we deliver every day. We are grateful to the SVQM auditors for recognising these efforts and to everyone who has played a part in this achievement. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to create meaningful, lasting impact.”

Building on Bronze and now Silver, Vita Health Group’s next ambition is to continue improving its performance and progress towards the Gold SVQM Award.
